I've read today about a variety of rumors still going on about the Redskins.  To read more, go to our Redskins News links and see for yourself, but here's a run down

1. The Dre Bly trade rumors are done.  Bly signed a five year extension with Denver.

2.  I read that the Redskins are trying to trade up to try and get Calvin Johnson, as if receiver is our chief concern

3.  I read that the Redskins are setting up a meeting with Jamarcus Russell.  Yeah, I've got a response... What?  

4.  I haven't seen anything else about the Briggs trade rumor.  Maybe Joe Gibbs had a chat with his spoiled brat owner before he went and did something else spur of the moment that may hurt the team. (ie Archuletta, Deion)

Danny may be right, in 2002 LaVar lined up as a DE A LOT and he recorded 11 sacks. Maybe this could work...

I hope you're right Aaron, although reports suggest that we've extended an official offer and it is precisely what Dan Snyder mouthed off on at the Owner's meeting. I really think our best shot at avoiding this disastrous trade is and remains the Chicago Bears.
