As Aaron stated below, episode 82 is up and ready to be downloaded. We've also got news updates from mini-camp this weekend, most importantly that Shawn Springs has been missing activities due to his newborn son's jaundice. That's got to be tough to go through for the kid and the parents.

On a sad note, Aaron's favorite Scrub, Justin Skaggs, passed away on Friday. He was an undrafted WR with the team in 2001 and 2002, I believe on the practice squad. Kudos to Redskins.com for finally putting up a picture of him in a Redskins uniform instead of the NFL Europe/Arena League looking one that was up since Saturday. Skaggs died from Brain Cancer.

Guard Will Whitticker has been getting lots of attention this weekend while filling in for Randy Thomas at Right Guard. Could be a contender for the Left Guard spot with Todd Wade being, well, really really tall.

I'm posting A LINK RIGHT HERE to Jason La Canfora's blog on washingtonpost.com for two reasons: 1) This is the first I've heard in the media about The 'Skins cutting either Brunell or Collins by the time they're playing real football, and 2) Casey Bramlet is going to lead The Hamburg Sea Devils into World Bowl XV on June 23rd. We spent some time on the latest podcast talking about the QB situation, and I think it makes a lot of sense to let Brunell go. Collins showed he can step up last preseason, after one really bad game he was rather decent in the others. The "Player-Coach" we envisioned could probably be the backup, and Bramlet could be the clipboard holder, or even the #2 dude.

And Carson Freakin' Palmer's brother can play on the practice squad.

Aaron thinks Chris Cooley is starting to look like John Riggins. I think he's acting like him, too. Just don't ever go bowling with the man.

Go Sea Devils! They scrapped their way in with that last second victory two weeks ago when the other team threw that pass on the kickoff. (We talked about it on the podcast)
I didn't know that Skaggs died. That upsets me greatly. He almost made the team. My thoughts are with his family.

I think we all agree about Cooley. However, Old Man Brunell is eating up a LOT of cap space and Collins needs to get his uniform muddy every once in a while. I would not shed a tear if Brunell were sent packing, and I was a HUGE proponent of bringing him to The Redskins in the first place.
